if you do a quick search, you will very likely find a lot of happy/satisfied customers who used INTERCITY who happens to be an SV here:

Many recent discussions in both the C8 and C7 sections here. Do an "Advanced search." All the best.

Plycar and Intercity are two names that are often mentioned on the forum. Give each a call and see what pricing and policies they have in terms of taking care of your car.

I've used InterCity to ship two Corvettes that I've sold. They are super professional, extremely delicate with the car and both parties (seller & buyer) couldn't have been happier with their service. Just make sure you schedule a pickup where you will have room for an 18-wheeler.

I used East/West from Ciocca to Florida, enclosed. No issues. Worked out great.

I’d use an enclosed trailer.

also, you are going NORTH in the winter, that’s very easy to schedule.

Intercity...twice...enclosed...

my company shipped one of my cars back in the 90s on an open trailer...it was a total mess when it arrived. I would never do an open trailer again.

Considered Amtrak's 'Auto Train'?
Seems a great alternative for xporting a[ny] vehicle from DC to FL.

In thee past members reported no issues w/ clearence loading/unloading.
Simply sit back & enjoy the ride w/o any traffic drama a'tall.
Upon arrival have own vehicle to explore the sights.
Going back simply reverse the process.

USHIP.com .. its very reasonable bid type section of service. I have used them on (2) BMW S1000RR motorcycles and all worked out great. Open trailer or enclosed is available. As with any service however, be careful, as there are scam movers on there too. Get the phone number and personally talk to them.. not just the text and message interface.

The bid type of services are interesting since you can see proposed costs and pickup time, and delivery time. It gives you a lot of options.
If you ask for bids on one of those sites, it may take a day or two for proposals to start coming in.

Then you can expect to be flooded with calls, texts, and emails for the next six months.

Thanks to Emergency Delivery uk, I had more time to work, which was great. I’m satisfied with my student life and the first car I had.
If the car is high-value, rare, or has a pristine finish, enclosed transport is the safer option as it offers full protection from road debris and weather. For most daily drivers, open transport is typically fine, especially if the forecast looks clear during transit, and it’s more cost-effective. Reliable companies to consider include Montway Auto Transport, AmeriFreight, and Sherpa Auto Transport — all have solid reputations and offer both enclosed and open options.

I just had my C8 shipped from Detroit to Palm Bay, Fl. I used Reliablecarriers.com. Enclosed trailer $ 1900.00. I had my car in six days. They were wonderful and carefull. I would use them again.
