So, I found this thread from Reddit, because I am experiencing a similar issue in that my ordered C8 is sitting at the dealership, waiting on the high wing. However, my window sticker (and the window sticker of the other C8 on the truck that day) both show the high wing. If OP's sticker doesn't have it, I think they forgot to order it.
My frustration is that I was going to order the carbon spoiler, but the dealer stated it was on constraint and suggested I change to color coded. I did. No issues - order picked up in Dec, window sticker generated on 7 Feb, and as stated, it's at the dealership. But now the dealership says they don't know when the spoiler is coming. Is there any way to get an ETA on this thing? I can't imagine all these dealerships want to store vehicles that are waiting on spoilers.
I contacted them Monday to see when I could get the car (and clean out my C7/arrange financing/etc), and this was the response: We are waiting for information on the High Wing Spoiler, that has not arrived at this time. As soon as I find out the information, I will let you know something. Thank You.
I guess if I don't hear anything by Friday, I will reach out again. I am uncomfortable being a bother, but I'd like to know if I'm waiting 2 weeks or 2 months.

Same thing happened with the High Wing order for my 2020 C8. Frankly the dealer nor GM may not know! Sounds silly BUT mine was on the plant build my order two weeks prior. It doesn't come from BG, at that time) it is dealer installed. May be shipped directly from the vendor, that is the least inventory cost for GM. In my case it was quickly stated it's not coming and like my 5VM option that was constrained several months before stayed that way for all of the remained 2020 orders! That vendor was and appears to remain a problem for whatever reasons. The dealer nor I were charged.
FWIW, for my 2017 Grand Sport I ordered the Stage 2 Aero Option of splitter and side skirts (~$4000.) It came to the dealer's parts department with my name and VIN about 1 week before the car arrived. In fact, yesterday I went to the dealer ~40 miles away and told the parts Manager my GM part number for the Scrape Armor Rad/Condenser Mesh Protectors ($895 Option) may be coming soon as my E-Ray was built last Wednesday. He is well aware of the shipment procedure. I also brought my 4 lift pads and newly purchased M14 8-inch-long wheel lug extensions to their great Corvette Tech. (They help avoid dinging the CCB rotors when removing a wheel!) The are brittle so a ding is a new $2000 rotor! Gave him some Pics of cautions NOT in excellent the Scrape Armor install video that are in the Paragon copy! He said he'll watch both videos as the front bumper has to be removed to install! I'll have Pics in PDF Doc of the PDI and mesh Install.
I watched when the white plastic was removed from my C8 at ~5:30 PM by the Service Manager and Dealer Owner's Son as all Techs went home. When I saw the low wing thought it was fine. Wife more so never ordered did order and install myself the aftermarket 5VM.
Any experience with the 3rd party high wings? Since things seem to be backed up, Im wondering if this is the better option. Im looking at used 21+ C8's and most in my budget do not have the wing but I'd like to get one installed. Is this something my local dealer can do? Thanks
I ordered a red high wing with my '24 Stingray. When the car arrived at the dealer (Criswell Chevrolet) the high wing was on the window sticker and the holes for the spoiler were predrilled at the factory as expected; however, after another 3 weeks of waiting the red high wing did not arrived at the dealer. After talking with the dealer they told me it was back ordered, but offered me a remarkable option which I promptly accepted to allow me to take delivery of my car back in Nov 23. They offered to install a carbon flash high wing they had in stock and told me that if I liked it I could keep it or I could have them swap it out for the red one when it came in. The carbon flash wing did look good on the car, but I wanted the red one which I think looks better on the car and matches the option code on the build sheet. So when the red one finally came in at the beginning of Feb 24 I had them swap out the high wings which they did at no charge. The dealer turned what started as a bad situation (given I had waited 19 months for the car at that point) into pleasurable experience. At least now I know what my car looks like with a carbon flash high wing so I have no regrets on opting for the red one.

I am picking up my car tomorrow I need to order a high wing in carbon flash .
2020-2024 are all the same spoiler. The problem is it's on constraint and can't be ordered
Absolutely you can order a 2023 High wing for the 2024.
i ordered my 2024 C8 2LT .
I I knew for fact I sent my order with high wing .
When it arrived no Spoiler I was extremely disappointed .
I don’t think I touched my car .
I laterally took 2 or 3 pictures .
I went to my Chevy app .I ordered it says 2024 high wing .
part # is :85001066.
Make sure when you order it ,it ships to your dealership.
Other wise they will charge for the shipping it’s like $200 .
They installed it for me for FREE,I told the manager I am not paying for the labor since my order .
I had included it ,I showed him my order .
hes ok With it .
One mechanic said it’s 6 hr labor .
When you order it you have the option for self install or dealer installed for $189 installed .
hope this helps
So I ordered my car with it as well and GM told the dealer they wouldnt get the car with it installed from the factory so it had to come through the parts department. They were supposed to order the spoiler and have it ready for install when the car arrived and was told the same thing you were told. Then like 3 days later they called and said "i have 1 extra" and $1800 later I had it installed before the car was shipped to me but yeah pretty lame how GM is making dealers do this.
I just purchased a 2024 that has the body color High Wing on the sticker and has the holes drilled but was not available when I purchased the car. Apparently 0 have been allocated for the next build cycles so it seems they just simply aren't being made at all. The dealer has no clue when it will be delivered so I purchased one of GM Direct for $995 OEM and installed it myself. I am hoping the dealer will just wither give me a $1,250 credit and or refund. Curious what your dealer has offered as obviously they owe us for this $1k add on options we have paid for.
Texasvett25,
As I mentioned in my previous post, I experienced the same with a Torch Red high wing I ordered with the car. Car came in with predrilled holes, but high wing was on a nation wide backorder. Luckily my dealer provided me with several options:
a. Wait for high wing to arrive (ultimately took another 3 months).
b. Buy after market high wing, dealer will install and refund cost of high wing ordered with car.
c. Dealer install Carbon Flash high wing they had in stock and I could just keep it instead of the red high wing.
d. Dealer install Carbon Flash high wing they had in stock and then swap out for the red one when it comes in.
I elected to go with option "d" and after 3 months of waiting the dealer swapped the high wings out at no extra charge. I could not be happier with how the dealer handled the situation. I would hope your dealer would at least offer to refund the cost of the high wing since you did not receive it.
