Hello
So after all the excitements ,got to the dealership
no wing spoiler installed .
i also noticed on the window sticker not charged for the spoiler.
Sales person was telling me it could be on constraint.
now I have to pay for it separately.
We went to the parts you can’t even order it for 2024 C8.
was quoted 6 Hr labor,
I told them I am not paying for the labor according to my order sheet .
What do I have to do take the car without the spoiler ?
Dang it doesn't look right w/o the spoiler .
I am upset about it.
Came to an agreement purchase a carbon flash High wing .
Dealership installs it for free.
What are your thoughts ?

I wanted to do a Museum delivery, my Salesman at Ciocca said they have a white high wing in their inventory, but the factory wouldn’t have one. Seems so strange that a piece of plastic is always on constraint.
If it was on constraint he should have informed you about that when ordering, to get your decision. I'd give odds on they just forgot to order it.
In such a situation I'd offer to pay the option price for them to get it and install it, but not a dime more. If you are paying MSRP, my 2nd guess is most dealerships will want to move the car and make it work.
Up to you how hard you want to play it, but demand isn't what it was even 6 months ago. Lots of places will happily order for you at MSRP or below and get you the car you want.
Whatever you do get it in writing before you sign the paperwork.
I went through the same thing when I ordered my 24. I ordered the low wing package with the front splitter then had the high wing installed through Chevy parts.

That was my situation with my 2020. I ordered the high wing. As build got close (like my E-Ray that went 3400 on Tuesday TPW 2/12/24) I asked the Corvette Concierge if the high wing was on my build. They said it's still on the build sheet. Just like the Corvette Concierge told me yesterday my GM Option Scrape Armor mesh is still listed.
Then about a week and a half before the scheduled build the Corvette Concierge (who I called frequently as I do now.) There at least 4 and after pressing #, as instructed, usually answer the phone in ~30 seconds- very pleasant folks. Was told not it was removed from the order and is not available. Dealer salesman called and said the same. He also said GM will not bill us and you will not be changed.
In that case the side skirt and high wing vendor was always slipping in and out of availability. Actually the 5VM skirts etc I order was told months before they were constrained and would not be available for my car.
I ordered aftermarket 5VM side skirts and installed myself. Never ordered an aftermarket high wing. Wife and I liked the low Z51 wing.
Its likely it was on constraint when the order went in or the order was accepted and they just didn't tell you. I couldn't order mine with the car because it was on constraint (Feb last year) but got lucky because the dealer had one in stock that they got in 2021 when they were available for a short time and saved it in case one of their Corvette customers wanted one. They didn't sell it to another dealer.
The high wings have been on constraint much longer than they actually were available.
I also ordered the high wing and close to production time, it was deleted. I got a 25% coupon code off anything from Chevy Accessories and free install. In the end, I saved about $500.
Exactly, I told him that ,I didn't review my order sheet when he sent it to me .
But according to order sheet it was there.
We worked something out ,I told the manager I am not looking for anything for free.
I would pay for the High wing spoiler not for 6 hr labor .
Agreed to purchased a carbon flash spoiler.
Now the problem not in stock for 2024 corvettes at all .

FlyinLow; Yep when I ordered my 2014 Z51 with visible CF roof. Dealer called and said roof constrained do you want to wait. i did to next order period.
For my C8 it happed just as Victory2024 said dealer had nothing to do with it!
OP is lucky dealer is helping as it appears they had nothing to do with the cause!
Can I order 2023 corvette high wing FOR 2024 ?
Will it fit a 2024 C8 ?
The problem parts couldn't find the order # for the 2024 .
I am picking up my car tomorrow I need to order a high wing in carbon flash .
I really don't see why some people stress and make such a big deal over not being able to source the $1,200 factory high wing, when there are a number of aftermarket replica wings that look identical to the factory version, but often are several hundreds of dollars less. I bought and installed my high wing from ... Amazon! Yep, .. and the only difference I've been able to tell is the winglet screws are brass instead of black. (I know of several versions that include the black screws) ... I saved $800 and the fitment was perfect! Personally, I couldn't be happier! The carbon flash paint on my spoiler matches 100%. The wing makes a DRAMATIC improvement to the car, and if the brass screws ever bother me, .. I'm sure I can pick up a few for less than a few bucks.

ill tell you why, because some of us dont want after market parts on our cars. Youre car isnt original anymore for one. Are you gonna disclose your after market mods when you sell,? Probably not. Look at us Z06 owners. If you get the high wing after the fact, you have to deal with plugging holes and the fix some after market places use, it looks like poop. Plus there were complaints that it rattles, etc. and not sturdy enough for high speeds. Should always be OEM and done by factory.
Dont care if its cheaper Youre gonna buy
a $100K car, and cheap it out with after market parts just to save $2-300 ? LOL

I don’t want Amazon spoiler .
or any aftermarket stuff on my car .
like I told them it’s not about the money .
I want what ordered a genuine products
They agreed .Why would you short cut on your 100k car ?
like the other said getting a $400 wing on your dream car ?
when I buy something it has to be a genuine I can trust .
but it’s car do whatever you like .

I highly doubt that’s true. Dealers send a final copy of the order to the buyer and it’s incumbent on the buyer to demand a copy if they didn’t receive a copy. In my case MacMullin sent me a copy and they required that I review and sign off on the order!
When GM notified my dealer (MacMulkin Chevrolet) the high wing was on constraint MacMulkin sent me an email letting me know in writing that it was removed from my order. I was disappointed but nothing one can do.
Your dealer had NOTHING to do with your car not having the spoiler if it was on constraint and deleted from your order by Bowling Green and to expect them to install it for free is just insane.
I ended up waiting until GM (GM.com) had their 20% discount which they do a couple of time a year it also had the option of adding installation for only $200.00. So you may want to go that route.

The OP didn't say anything about a Z06, and neither did I. Adding a Z06 high wing would certainly lead to rattles as the OEM Z07 spoiler has bracketry and bracing behind the bumper that is necessary to support it properly. All three of the Stingray OEM spoilers bolt directly to the bumper cover, with NO additional bracing involved. Again, we're NOT talking about a Z06, ... so if taking a negative position on whether a spoiler cost $400 or $1200, when there's no perceptible difference (Talking about the Quality Offerings) .. makes you feel good, then so be it. There are many options for the High Wing Spoiler that I promise you most buyers would not be able to identify which was which? Sure there is crap out there, but I wouldn't put anything on my car that didn't pass my personal QC inspection. There are those that feel as you do, .. and there are certainly many who've reported here that they went aftermarket and have no problems. No shortage in either camp, I'm sure. To each his own.
The carbon flash high wing spoiler was on constraint when I ordered my late 23. The dealer said they didn't know when to expect one over the parts counter. I went to Ebay and found a dealer in TX that was selling 3 of them. I had my dealer order from the TX dealer and they shipped it for local install. Wing price and local install was a little less than the factory option pricing. The carbon spoilers are out there, but you have to hunt them down. Good luck in your hunt. I agree with your comment about after market spoilers. I have the factory dual stripes in carbon and the high wing ties it all together.

No kidding. Was giving my opinion on putting after market parts on a $100K car, just to save $2-300 bucks. Just throwing it out there with my Z06 opinion, because it cheapens that particular car if you go after market. Plus the fix is terrible. OEM is the way to go. There are many that feel the way i do. Some dont care, its their car, so be it.
So, I found this thread from Reddit, because I am experiencing a similar issue in that my ordered C8 is sitting at the dealership, waiting on the high wing. However, my window sticker (and the window sticker of the other C8 on the truck that day) both show the high wing. If OP's sticker doesn't have it, I think they forgot to order it.
My frustration is that I was going to order the carbon spoiler, but the dealer stated it was on constraint and suggested I change to color coded. I did. No issues - order picked up in Dec, window sticker generated on 7 Feb, and as stated, it's at the dealership. But now the dealership says they don't know when the spoiler is coming. Is there any way to get an ETA on this thing? I can't imagine all these dealerships want to store vehicles that are waiting on spoilers.
