I have a new C8 2024 stingray and my heads up display doesn’t seem to be exactly level. Is there any way to adjust that? I know you can make adjustments to how high on the windshield you want it to be and intensity etc. but not any ability to level, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Great job. This was torturing me for weeks.
1. The right side of the steering wheel has that pinwheel you can spin up or down in the center of the 4 arrows.
2. Press down or push in the pinwheel and you will come to a menu on the right side of your digital dash.
3. Use the pinwheel to scroll down to HUD rotation.
4. Press down on the pinwheel again to select the HUD rotation.
5. Use the pinwheel rotating up or down to rotate left or right.
6. When you like the position push down on the pinwheel to save your position.
Remember under your dash to your left is the HUD controls to move it up or down only.
There is also a toggle to adjust the intensity of the image of the HUD as well.

I downloaded the 2024 Owner's Manual from the Chevy website and then searched on "HUD". I found the following section, entitled HUD Rotation.
Every new thread should get an automatic reply that says "Please read the owner's manual if you have a question about the car. The answer is probably there."
Worse than that - you can easily get a searchable computer version. Probably easier to use than posting a forum inquiry as a first resort. Some are just too lazy to bother.
I had this question too (HUD leveling) and am glad I didn't ask you people here. And I did ask elsewhere because the manual assumes you got to some HUD menu on the car when it says to press the thumbwheel. The Corvette is a very new to me experience with the electronics it has and two manuals you need to go back and forth with for some items. But even with that if you feel someone asking a question is lazy there's no reason to be a jerk and say so, just don't answer.

That is true, it does, because it is in the section of the manual that is describing how to navigate through the menu using the thumbwheel and buttons.. You will never find a post where I ever made a snarky remark about reading the manual, but I do point out where the info can be found - hopefully that is helpful. In this case, upon searching the manual for the HUD rotation, it is found on page 101 of the 2024 manual. It takes a little time to see how the manual is structured, and its not necessarily the best. But once found, you can see it is a paragraph in a section called "Information Displays, Driver Information Center (DIC)" . The page number depends on the manual, but for 2024 it starts on page 98. The section introduces the thumwheel and up-down arrows and describes how to navigate through the menu. I got in the car and scrolled around using those navigation controls - and found most all the options that are listed in the section - among them the HUD rotation.
I did not know this. I've had my '23 for almost 18 months and just assumed the HUD functions were like my former C6 and current C7, so I skipped over the HUD info in the manual.
Does it really bother you guys if someone asks a question and then 20 others ask the same question? Really? I've been slammed and I have slammed and I get a little message that I have been a bad boy but aren't we here to talk and help each other to learn about our car just ignore the question there's enough stress to go around. I met a forum member IN PERSON LAST WEEK AND IT WAS GREAT and I talked to a member from Massachusetts who got in touch with me just to help me figure out something about my car that I didn't know.
I really don't understand why guys get so bent out of shape about people asking questions like this. Just ignore and go on if it bothers you.
really don't want to spend a bunch of time pouring over the owner's manual and why should I when I can "hit the easy button" and ask on this forum.
Regarding this topic. I thought I'd just have to live with it and now I know how to adjust it. Thank you to the guys who spent the time to research and answer
