When I built and ordered my Stingray I ordered a black interior. If I wanted red stitching I had to order a 3Lt to get it. It wouldn’t come up in the build unless I did 3LT. It appears some members disagree with me. Has anyone seen what I’m talking about?

True but it doesn't matter you can do it yourself. I got 2LT with all black sueded seats (LOVE them). I then got a few fabric markers and some hours and it worked out fantastic. I also added the Tension blue head rests. I was determined to get my build to exactly what I wanted.
They can disagree but that is true. The only way to get just colored stitching is 3LT. I went through this as well. I finally decided to do colored 2 tone seats, which include colored stitching available with 2LT. It is pure marketing with colored stitching only to push you to 3LT.

When I selected adrenaline red seating surfaces so I can get red stitching without going 3LT make me upgrade to GT2 sets at over $1600.

There are several threads on dyeing the stitches correctly. Takes about 2 hours and $12 for the correct laundry markers. I believe GT2 seats and 2 tone option will get you there too for about 2k

If you get a light colored stitching, you can do as others have mentioned and use a fabric marker to dye the stitches the color you want. Easy to do and comes out great.
