If you are down in South Florida I am going to guess it rarely gets below 50 to 60? there is little reason to switch at that temp...

I'm in south Carolina just south of Charlotte and will be putting AS4s on my car come late fall only bc the weather here gets to the 20s and I wouldn't be able to drive regularly Nov through March without risking the tires or driving with less than ideal traction.

The AS4s are great, i had AS3s on my c7 and m4 and they were awesome....that beint said if i lived where you do i would go with the stickiest summer high performance tire possible!

I had sport tires on my 1st C8 and just bought a HTC with A/S tires and the ride is much better to me. I will replace with them for sure when I have too

Here is a link to a Tire Rack test that compares the Michelin PS4S and PS AS 4 tires:

What is the goal of switching? Better ride? Better handling? Cold weather? Noise reduction? I think to answer the question you need to decide your goal and expectations. What is it about the Summer tires that makes you want to switch?

I live in Maryland. And I did swap my Summer tires for the All Season - still with runflat Michelins. But my motivation was because I wanted to drive in colder weather. I only do street driving. I did not notice any difference - but then - I have an HTC and most of my driving is with the top open, and mostly secondary roads. Many do report difference in noise or ride.

I am shocked the crossclimate tires did so well! They look much better than the as4s and don't sacrifice anything vs the pilot sports....

Anybody have real world experience with the crossclimate2

It depends what your priorities are in a tire. The best wet and dry handling goes to the PS4S.
I don't know if the crossclimates come in the appropriate speed rating. If your OK with giving up runflats and a little road feel look at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus.

That's what I thought too but go look at their charts - the croosclimates win everything except wet test traxk and wet cornering- I fully expected the PS4S to blow the other 3 away but that wasn't the case at all...

I have no clue how subjective those data points are but they point to better handling characteristics nesrly all around for the crossclimates vs the as and mostly better against the ps4s

And unfortunately i must have run flats...

Have you gone to the chart display tab? I don't know if this link will work but it shows the PS4S has the best road steering and handling.

All Seasons are Much better ride and Much quieter than Super Sports. If that's what you're seeking. And I prefer All Seasons in rain (which I get beau coup) over Super Sports, also. I've had Cup2's for track, SS & now that I don't track, AS are great. You can probably sell your Super Sports here.

I have the Michelin AS 3+ ZPs on my C7 and the tires do everything well. I like the security of the runflats and the ability to drive the car in all kinds of weather is a huge plus.

I have a set of each mounted on Tridents, I switch out about every 6 months for cold weather driving in PA. No noticeable ride or noise difference to me.

As tires age the compound gets harder and the tread depth reduces with mileage. This will make tires noisier. People often replace worn tires with another type, notice they are quieter, and attribute the noise reduction to the different tires. If they and replaced the worn tires with the exact same new tires they would also have noticed a reduction in noise.

I purchased a new set of Michelin non-runflat AS3+ tires for my C7 and had them mounted on a spare set of rims. I would switch back and forth between them and the OEM MPSS tires. Initially the new tires were quieter but as the AS3+ tires wore they became just as noisy as the MPSS tires.
