I have since done some searches and discovered that GM has supercharged it's share of vehicles.
But not the production versions of the Corvette C8? They were used on older C6 and C7 models.
Is this the "next" upgrade for the C8 or it's successors I wonder?
Seems logical.
It would seem logical. Although it looks like GM is going to use twin turbos on the 5.5L double over head cam V8, It will be a really epic powerful full featured engine with every high tech trick known to man. ZR1 is going to rock the automotive world...all the hoity toity supercar makers are going to be challenged by Chevy...cool stuff.

I will enjoy seeing that. Corvette dominance in any environment, and under any circumstances.
FoMoCo and Mopar had better be ready, eh?
I just have no interest in Mopar. Not impressed with the body style, they are pretty dull. Don't care if they are faster. Don't care how much boost they have.
If a ZO6 pulled up next to me, I would be impressed. Style and speed, now that is what appeals to me.
Funny, I met some Mopar muscle heads about a month ago in a nearby park. Hoods were up like they were at a car show. Some guys and girls sort of standing around looking bored. Stopped for a quick look, and they told me how fast their cars were, what hardware this and that. SRT HC and a Demon, supercharged blah blah. All the while they were trying to impress me, I noticed their "entourage" were staring at my C8, and they were also smiling. I think people only look at them when they're noisy or doing something dumb. I get the longer looks just driving by normally. Very cool, too.
So at 120mph, was that a win in the 1/4 mile? Or just short?
Do they have factory blowers?
I would say for the C8, at 120 it would about to cross the line as i've seen average trap speeds to be about 117-121. So yes it would be a win for the C8 in a drag race.
But in the real world, when everyone is on the go, the hellcat would have ate the C8 anywhere from 60+.
