Hot Trunk in Florida

I believe Walt’s position, which I happen to agree with, is that a 5.4 degree rise in trunk temperature on a hot day is statistically insignificant in the grand scheme of things and isn’t an indicator of a problem with the C8’s trunk that requires an owner to take measures to insulate it.
I just described the situation articulated in the OP and Walt’s response to it at post #3.
I don’t think he has to quantify his position anymore clearly than he already has.
The trunk of any car gets hot in hot weather. I never put anything in the trunk of any car that could be ruined if left in the trunk on a hot day for too long.
If you and others are concerned about the insulation of the trunk of your C8 and want to share your experiences and techniques to improve upon the insulation because of your concern, then that’s what this forum is all about.
I don’t disparage anyone who feels differently from me on any subject, but people can express the point of view that insulating the trunk is unnecessary and that’s okay too.
Methinks it’s time to agree to disagree.
