I've used voice commands since my first Garmin 855 GPS unit. I liked that I could change settings and run routes without taking my eyes off the road or hands off the wheel.
I like the 2024Google nav and Info system but it can be a little quirky. Also, I have nothing similar to compare it to. My 2017 MB Sprinter isn't nearly as "AI" or complicated. It's Neanderthal by comparison.
My first voice activated nav experience was in a 2005 Cadillac STS, that thing sucked so much. Then the first gen siri, again next to useless. I gave up trying and am happier using my fingers even if it means pulling over.
