Is the question around the packaging to suggest that it doesn't contain a genuine AC Delco filter made in the heart of China?
The oil filter game is all a money grab. Prices are whatever any vendor wants them to be.
An AC Delco PF64 at my local Advance Auto is $9. The Mobile 1 M1-114a is $18.

Why didn't they just say, "Made in the USA"? It's not like we're talking about grapes from California.
Sounds like AC Delco probably sells their patent to have it "made" or assembled in other locations....likely in effort to cut logistical expenses. Or maybe parts of the filter comes from other sources.All said, I will buy them until I have reason to look elsewhere.
