My cellphone is a Galaxy A52. When I stick it into the holder between the seats it's hard to get in and real hard to pull out - like the phone is too big. It's just a place to put the phone because the A52 does not have wireless charging.
However, I'm going to buy a new phone that will have wireless charging. I'm looking for phones to avoid and phones that fit well into that holder/charger. Thanks
I have an S22 with a slim case that is a perfect fit,... BUT...
I prefer to have mine visible, (I'm using JBV1) so I keep a short cord and fast battery pack (GAN) in the console in case it runs low on power, and a phone holder
My iPhone 15 (not pro) fits nicely with a low profile Apple silicone case.
My iPhone 14 Pro (not plus) in slim Apple silicone case can with effort be wedged down in far enough to charge until we hit the first bump. Then it stops charging. If it doesn't stop, it serves as a "phone heater" more than charger.
I wondered what the #2, #3, and #4 worst spots considered were? Far side of passenger rear door well? Near passenger left foot when fully extended?
Whereas it could be a very useable charging pad in the spot that currently has the micro center console, and the waterfall could have been storage with a color matched lid. Lexus and Mercedes flat chargers are FAST spacious and no heat.
Worst miss of the interior IMHO. And VERY unattractive, appearing unfinished.

I would think that there are tons of Qi compatible phones that would fit.
The space is a bit over 4” wide and the Qi charging area is large. There are flexible rubber bumpers to keep the phone tight that make contact if the phone is more than about 1/4” thick but you can squeeze a 1/2” thick phone in there without hassle without removing the bumpers. And of course the height is huge. Unless the phone plus case is over 4 inches wide you should be fine.
I have an IPhone 12 mini. It fits into the slot well, and does have wireless charging, but will absolutely not charge wirelessly in the Corvette with the protective case on the phone. I ended up buying a very short lightning cable and keep it in the center console compartment.
The phone charges wirelessly with the case on my home chargers as well as in my wife’s Toyota Highlander, so the issue is not the phone case, but the tight geometry of the phone slot in the Vette. In addition, I cannot easily reach the phone while in the driver’s seat, so that feature is of marginal use.
