Soler controller display placement
My car has the sueded microfiber interior. I am wondering where others with the same microfiber interior put the Soler display. The ideal spot seems to be the area almost below the start button. I feel tape or glue would mess up the microfiber if the display ever has to be removed.

Leave it in the box, you can pair & control the controller via the phone app with Bluetooth connection.

I don't have suede interior but that's exactly where I put mine. Or you can just disconnect it if you have it connected to your phone.

You don't need to display it at all!

I opted to hook up the display module (as a back-up just in case) but tucked it away inside the "tunnel" for the steering wheel column. Like many, I use my phone exclusively with the Soler TC.

I put my TC in the gap between the top of the steering column and the bottom of the dash. The wires are also tucked into the gap as well. To get the TC out you can pull on the wiring harness.

Pair and in the g box …what they said. Worlds better than the controller for the C7, LEDs were very dim and in Florida sun …forget about it !

I tucked the wire underneath the center console and keep it loose in the center console box.

Do you know if you can still use Bluetooth for apple carplay during this or does it have to be one or the other?

You can use both at the same time.

So I can install it but not even use the box? Would much rather use my phone to control it if possible

Yes, that is correct. Use can access all of the controls through the app on your phone.

As others have said, you don't need the controller. But you should probably keep it in the car just in case you need to change the settings and your phone has died. I wrapped mine in bubble wrap and keep it in the glove box, "just in case"

Plus one on this approach. Works for me because some times it is actually easier than going into the phone.
