My car has the sueded microfiber interior. I am wondering where others with the same microfiber interior put the Soler display. The ideal spot seems to be the area almost below the start button. I feel tape or glue would mess up the microfiber if the display ever has to be removed.
I opted to hook up the display module (as a back-up just in case) but tucked it away inside the "tunnel" for the steering wheel column. Like many, I use my phone exclusively with the Soler TC.
I put my TC in the gap between the top of the steering column and the bottom of the dash. The wires are also tucked into the gap as well. To get the TC out you can pull on the wiring harness.
As others have said, you don't need the controller. But you should probably keep it in the car just in case you need to change the settings and your phone has died. I wrapped mine in bubble wrap and keep it in the glove box, "just in case"
