Default Center Cap Issues

Logo missing???

Are the caps and logo not one piece? Just noticed front right missing today when cleaning my Q9A’s.

No, they are two separate pieces.

Well aint that some bullshit. So I guess the logo piece just came off. 6 months and 3k miles and car falling to pieces already

Just kidding, but now to go on the hunt for a center cap replacement I guess!

Warranty item. Have your dealer get you a new center cap.

I know this does not help your issue, but I have the same wheels with the Stingray R package and my center caps are one piece. I also have the factory black lugs which I think blend in a little better than the silver ones.

Simple solution, but I agree that the center cap should not have fallen apart.

What failed on my '23 C8 was just the the crossed flags emblem separated from the cap, (not the assembly). It's attached with adhesive and the adhesive fails. I caught it and used a toothpick and super glue to keep it tacked down.

All responses Much appreciated! Can see now why it failed and good to know it ca be replaced under warranty, but not sure if it worth my time to drive to the dealer to get it done.

Appreciate the pic! I've floated back and forth on changing the lugs to black, and this pic helps. I do love these wheels though. No regrets on speccing these on my build at all.

I took my car into the dealer to have a flat tire checked out and repaired when it was 2 weeks old. When I got home the crossed flag portion of the cap was missing. I figure the guy who pulled the wheel screwed it up and didn't notice when he put it back on. They ordered a new one.

If like others on Vettes I've seen (ones that can be "popped" apart), do so and add a little silicone to stick them in place when reassembling. I make my own custom center-caps with my CF "name," and stick together in this fashion; I haven't had one fail in 20-years.

Terrible design....The emblem gets caught (on a towel sometimes when drying) and gets ripped off....The centre cap / logo is all 1 part...I've had 2 replaced so far on my 2023. (warranty). Same on my C7, had a couple replaced on it as well...

@Pendragon

Flag on mine broke off just like yours a week ago. The black ring it was attached to was still on the cap. Dealer replaced it but at first wanted $64 to do it and replace it. I said no that will be free under warranty and that little mention got it handed to me minus the little factory package it came in. I removed old one with a trim tool I took with me in their service writer bay and popped new one on. Drove off!
