Default Callaway Stingray Build

Had the Callaway build done over the last two weeks at the Old Lyme facility.
Saw the car today and it will be delivered to me Friday.
Spoke to the guys at Carlisle in August and pulled the trigger.
687 BPH and 643 Tq.

Should be a fun day tomorrow

Looks very well done in the engine bay.... question. What do they warranty and if one had an extended Platinum warranty what would change in their arena...specifically tranny / drive train related components?
I'd guess the low end grunt would be much better but buying a warrantied Z06 would get you in that same ballpark.

Very good choice for the upgrade. Will look for a follow on post once you have the car and have tested it out.

The basic warranty runs in conjunction with the GM 3 years 36000 miles. My car is a '23 and has only 3,900 miles on it but I got it in June of 2022. That is when the warranty started. My GM basic warranty is up next June. That is when the basic Callaway will run out also. The GM powertrain warranty is good for 5 years or 60,000. At additional cost, ( which I opted for ), Callaway will honor the GM power train warranty for the full term.
I got in to this car for a lot less than a trade for an optioned as I would like new Z06. I did research that,

Enjoy it! It sounds like they have gotten their build times down significantly. I've been driving mine all season and it has been flawless.

I feel you on the decision to modify the Stingray vs. trading into a Z. A lot of folks are under the impression that simply moving into a Z is the 'cheaper' route. It might be very long term if you look at the residuals of the Z vs a modified base car but right now, it is cheaper to modify for the most part. I was in the same boat and that's why my engine build begins this winter (I'm staying NA for now and PRAYING the TCU gets cracked eventually). Enjoy the car and be sure to post up some impressions.
