What he is getting at is a hydraulic system flush doesn't replace the DCT fluid. Many people confuse hydraulic system flush withe a fluid drain and refill, they aren't the same thing. You need to look at your invoice to see what was done so you know when your next services need to be done. The DCT fluid needs to be changed every 3 years at a minimum.

Yes, I understand that. The tech told me they just replaced the filter.

The letter says the fluid needs to be replaced at 3 years, no milage requirement. The manual says check the fluid life monitor at 45,000 and change if needed. You'll probably hit the three year requirement before the 45,000 miles.
Hate to bring up another DCT maintenance question but if DCT filter was replace free at 7500 then fluid changed at 22,500 and I now have 38,000 miles and it is almost 3 years old, so I need to change the fluid now at 38,000 miles AND then change it again at 45,000 miles? Will ask a service advisor (or 2) tomorrow and post what they say.

I would assume that if you changed the fluid at whatever mileage before the 3 year mark then you will need to change it again 3 years from the time you last changed it. The only plus or minus requirement is for the filter at 7500 +/-500 miles. The transmission fluid is at least every 3 years or 45,000 miles so, although I don't know why you would have changed it at 22,500 miles, you're not due again until 3 years or (22,500 + 45,000) miles from the last change - whichever comes first.

However, your filter should have been changed at 22,500 miles too, and every 22,500 miles thereafter. Confusing, I know, but that's the way it is. There is NO time period requirement for the DCT filter, just mileage.

My service manager did not know what to do after He read the notification, He said He will ask and let Me know.
I have not heard from the service department tomorrow, it seems to Me the intent of this is to do it again?
I had My 2023 serviced at 7600 miles, I certainly want to take care of this transmission as it is a Z-51 car.

NO @Jettcity1 - the letter is gradually going out to all C8 owners and the intent (as far as I can gather) is just to clarify what the DCT service requirements are since there is so much confusion about them. Read the letter carefully. If you had the DCT filter changed at 7600 miles you are good! (7000-8000 miles).

Where does this come from? The requirements are a little different from what we may be used to - but not that bad.

DCT filter change: Change the DCT filter between 7000-8000 miles even if done earlier, then at 22,500 miles, then every 22,500 miles after that, or every 24 hours of track use, whichever is first.
Fluid change: Change the fluid when the fluid life system says so, or at least every three years from the last time, or at least 45000 miles from the last time, or every 24 hours of track use, whichever is first.
