I'm looking to purchase this soon but I have one question. Can you lock/unlock the throttle WITHOUT the app? If you can only disable the throttle through the app and your phone battery happens to die...How do you unlock it?

App only will control throttle lockout, BUT, you can Bluetooth it with more than one phone. Car will still start with lockout engaged, so if phone is dead, just power it up in the car.
Extremely valid concern and that was my main one as well. Just take a few simple steps for most of the "What if's". Obviously, lost/stolen phone is the worst imo.
Get it, you'll love it, I do !
As stated;
You cannot unlock the Accelerator Pedal from the small LCD Bluetooth Controller. It only changes Modes. You can run the product without the BT Controller plugged in.
If your phone is
dead - you can start car, use cars wireless charger if applicable for a few minutes to get phone to 1-2% is all you need to get to the app and unlock.
dead - also, you're probably going to be somewhere in civilization you can use a charger from someone for a few minutes??
dead - Keep a USB Phone Battery Charger Pack in your console/frunk. I have a NOCO Jump Pack that has USB Charger Port built in.
lost - start the car and pair with another phone by pressing the 2 buttons on the BT Controller simultaneously. Then Unlock.
Absolute worst case scenario and phone is lost/stolen, use 10mm socket to remove the Accelerator Pedal and remove controller. Less than 10 minutes and you're off. If you've ever considered getting the car into Neutral to tow, this is nothing . In my opinion, it cannot be removed without first removing the Accelerator Pedal as it clips directly into the top of it.
In my opinion, hide the cable under the carpet and trim to place/mount the BT Controller in the Center Console. It's out of sight and most won't know what it's for if seen. For complete piece of mind while traveling I Lock the Accelerator Pedal and take the BT Controller out of the car with me. Then again, I still use my Club Steering Wheel lock as an additional deterrent

Outstanding reply! Answered every question I could have thought of!
So it seems that if my phone craps out and nobody is around, I’ll be laying down in the footwell disconnecting the controller!
Whats the big deal?? Just plug your phone into the usb port in your car..or the charging station on the vet. .Just be sure to carry a cord at all times in the car....
If you lose your phone or misplace it you can put the app on any phone and just add the code on your box and that phone will work...No big deal.....I really enjoy mine and all the selections I have....Have fun...
What I meant by that is if the battery dies from excessive Corvette Forum scrolling!
Make sure you keep a charging cable in the car. You need to start the car to unlock the Soler anyway, so just start the car, plug in your phone, and you should be able to turn the phone back on in a couple of minutes.
Now if you lose or break your phone, you could have a problem.

Having the wired control panel in the car won't help. You can only unlock the pedal from the phone app. If by "BT Controller" you mean the display, that's not BT. The bluetooth radio is in the unit that's wired to the gas pedal.
Just a real quick correction. You most certaintly can unlock the pedal with the lcd box. I have done it and when I called Soler the first comment from them was " How did you figure that out." I swore it would stay with me. I figured it out in about two minutes. Also I confirmed with them that the LCD unit was not needed and I am removing mine. The other issue is that the 4 digit code can also be pulled up on that screen and put into ANY phone that pulls down the app. I have also confirmed that and experimented with other phones. Bad guys are sharp at times and can easily figure this out. Just fyi to remove the LCD unit and you are in good shape. Make sure that you do the open door thing for 10 minutes before you pull the box.
