Default Supporting quick jacks

What your of jack stands do you use to support your quick jacks? I don't see any way to get the stands exactly under the QJs.

I for one don't understand the need or maybe your question. If you're referring to QuickJacks like the 5000 or 7000 models (or any model), there's no need for a jackstand. I always make certain the quick jack is in one of the two locking positions.

Exactly. If you are overly worried just place them under the A arms without lowering the car on them...

I just put my jackstands at the support points on the car on my C7. There is absolutely no way I would trust the locking points on the QJ itself. There have been people killed by them failing.

Could you supply some evidence of that? I would think if that were true it would really curb their sales or put them out of business. It a minimum it would cause them to put a warning out in their instructions to use jack stands and explain how.

I give up. There have been reports online of a few failing. Go search for yourself. Either way, I'm not trusting some little lock with up to 5k lbs on top of me.

Page 7 from QJ themselves.

As an added precaution, you must always use auxiliary safety stands under the Vehicle while elevated on both QuickJack Frames.

Yes but the question was about people being crushed to death. "There have been people killed by them failing.".

Give it a rest already. I saw a report online back when I bought mine. The manual says use jackstands. That's good enough reason.

AGREE. The QJ system is nice but it depends on ONE support arm, too bad there wasn't dual on each leg. I went with VEVOR system, much more solid AND double locking each side. Not sue why everyone jumps on the QJ's.

My understanding of the QJ is that you have to orientate a proper direction first and there is only one leg supporting truss that is held by a small angle weld to hold it. I would use the VEVOR system any day over the QJ for SAFETY as that is my priority. The QJ even looks shaky!

So the whole thread started with me just wanting to know what you use to support your car if you go under it. If you don't use anything no worries. For those that do, what do you use and where do you place them under the car when it's lifted on QJs.
