Can Bluetooth enabled headphones be connected to the bluetooth in my 2023 C8 Vette? It appears only phones with Bluetooth can be connected
For what purpose? Are you trying to play music from the infotainment system into your BT connected headphones so you can listen to music on the headphones instead of the car speaker. I have not seen anything that suggest that is possible. When phones are connected via BT only, its playing music or audio (from Nav app for example) from the phone, into the infotainment system so it can be heard on the car speakers.
How can anyone not know you can't wear headphones while driving? It has been that way since I got my license 50 yrs ago...lol. The issue is you can't hear horns, sirens, etc.

Headphone technology has come a long way in the last 10 years. I have bluetooth earbuds and over-ear headphones. Both allow ambient noise while listening to music because (Irony) its a safety issue. Runners need to hear horns, sirens, etc. when listening to music on their run.
Pushing aside all the legal 'advice' youre getting.... in repsonse to your orig question: The BT in the Stingray appears to be a 2-way authenitication setup. I've yet to find the exact version of BT in mine(2024), but tests have confimed that you can connect most Android devices and Apple devices via bluetooth. I say most, becasue older versions of Android make not work with the version of Android Automotive in the car (and older versions of android are usually on devices that have an older gen of the BT spec).
I've sucessfully tested Android 12 and 13 devices (phones and tablets) as well as a variety of iphones and ipads. The dynamics of the 2-way authentication requires confimration of a code on the far end device---this is simple with a phone or tablet. Not feasible with a deivce that doesnt have a screen (e.g. earbuds or a pure(non-OS based) BT transmitter-receiver. There is a longshot that a voice enabled device that ISNT a phone or tablet might be able to comeplete the authentication, but I'm not hopeful of finding that. There a few (dozens?) of pure Andrioid apps that could work around this 2-way authentication limitataion...but Android Automotive ISNT the same as Android. The apps that WILL run on it are ONLY the APPS GM says CAN run on it.
IOW, NO. Your time will be wasted trying to link BT headphones that way.
