Yes I know they're not an "authority" and not affiliated w/ GM, but here's the latest rumors...

I would love to see the new G6 V8 debut ahead of the '27 Silverado debut, but my gut says it's not coming this model year. We haven't seen a fleet of base Corvettes out testing lately; just ZR1 / Zora stuff.

My guess is if their testing the Stingrays with a new motor their doing it in plain sight. Tint the rear engine cover and no one would be the wiser. Def interesting to see what they release at bash.

I'm particularly interested in the interior changes.. the wall of buttons and claustrophobic passenger side has kept me from buying another one...hoping that will be changed.

The button wall has never bothered me in the ones I've driven, however I could see it being a nuisance if I had to live with the car on a daily bases. I could for sure see it being a turn off to the passenger, but to me I'd rather have a driver centric car anyway so its kind of an afterthought for me. Def not a deal breaker but excited to see if the new refresh is worth waiting a year to put my e-ray order in. Im sure the old lady won't care either way since she'll likely get plenty of seat time too on days when I wanna take the C6 out.

I can't see how the button wall would bother a passenger. It's not like getting rid of it will suddenly transform the interior into something to rival an S-Class. It's a cheap domestic sports car with a tiny cabin and two seats. I'm just confused by what everyone thinks will be 'accomplished' by lowering the wall a bit.

My budget doesn't view our car as 'cheap'. Yours must, but seems tacky to flaunt it. And the worst car I ever owned? A Mercedes. It spent more days on the service drive than on my drive. Truth be told eh?

My wife has been DDing Mercedes SUVs since her 2012 GLK… only bad one we had we a ML350 diesel. Since then we’ve had a GLC and now a ‘22 GLE and they have been excellent.

My only gripe with the wall is that the LEDs are not bright enough. From the spy shots I've seen so far, it seems like an improvement in some respects, such as moving some HVAC buttons to the strip under the center vent, and leaving them as tactile buttons. Also moving the wireless phone charger to the center console makes sense--I don't have a wireless charge cell phone but most C8 owners don't like the current location.

I don't particularly care for the Wall, but my wife, my primary passenger, actually likes it. As I won't be trading in my 24 any time soon whatever they change doesn't affect me.

Disagree with that one. They've made the wireless charger easier to reach, but made the cupholders harder to reach. I hardly ever use the wireless charger, but use the cupholders frequently. Losing the cover over the cupholders doesn't seem like an improvement, either.

My wife has probably ridden 10K miles in the passenger seat, and has never complained about the "great wall," even when I asked her. I mean, Geez, it's only about 6 or 7 inches high at the top. Unless the passenger is only 6 months old it's not remotely in anyone's way.

Can't believe the current setup was released. Engineer must either not have a cell phone, or hates people!

Center console is a no-brainer, and put a true hinged waterfall cover and there's your console storage.

I'm not a fan of the wall, but the change could be worse.
