My 2024 C8 has been in the shop for 18 days so far for the same issue (under warranty). My 2023 spent 64 days in the shop for the same issue. Chevy WTF?

Yor were unlucky. Don't believe from posts it's a high percentage issue similar to 3LT Dash peeling. But a bit hard to understand why it should take even18, let alone 64 days unless they are waiting for a new carpet. The solution in 2020/21 was to apply a silicone type sealant to weld voids or missed weld areas.

The solution defined in 2020/2021 was to apply sealant over voids or missing welds joining sheet metal Center Tunnel parts. Some are automatic Laser welds.
