Yes, I'll for sure be looking into PPF and just ordered some small mods today. Years ago I had a full bolt on 2010 camaro, it will be hard not to go that route again. I almost went with a C7 Z06 just because the way they sound with a big, nasty cam.
Pretty confident you won't feel the need to go that route. If the LT2 isn't enough, trade up for an E-Ray. And if that isn't enough, trade up for a ZR1X. But there's already a world of difference between the C8's 2.9s and a 2010 Camaro that's a good 2 seconds slower.

For sure, but I do miss the sound of the cam. Even when my wife first rode in the corvette she said "this thing needs a cam".

I'm kind of in the middle ground where few are. I like my performance cars to be silent, but not artificially make sound. So tesla/charger is abhorrent to me...but so are cars that sound like dragsters at idle.
Just like how men want a lady on the streets and a freak in the sheets; I want a quiet, subdued car to daily....and unleash the kraken (with some audible grunt) when I stomp on it. The glorious symphony of FWD motor & RWD v8 giving off supercharger vibes...is *chef's kiss*
