My 2¢
I'm on board with ease of cleaning and all that. But I highly disagree with the statement above. A really nice set of forged wheels will increase the value of the car and appeal. Especially on the early models where the wheels are not even forged. However if you get some crazy looking wheels that only appeals to the owner.....then maybe so. An ugly set of wheels is just ugly and I would agree that then you may want to keep the originals in that case.

In addition. Sometimes it may be easier to recoup more of your investment on private sell than trading a car in where the dealer may be wanting to cash in say on your HRE wheels. If 2 C8's are sitting side by side same everything and one has a nice set of say HRE's. Which one will command a better price if all was equal? Its a shoot out there as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I would bet 8/10 on the HRE's. JMO.
