There isn't an easy method. About the only thing you can do is adjust the bass to the max, and turn the midrange to 50% and the treble to maybe 70%. That way at least the mids and hi's don't deafen you when you want bass.
Unfortunately there's no easy way to retrofit a sub into the C8, and the 10's are ported in the doors--which means they're boomy but woefully inaccurate.

Check the equalizer settings. I have a 2LT C8 and the bass set at probably 90% and it sounds fantastic. The C7 2LT bass was too much and drowned out the rest of the sound but the C8 is fantastic.

If you play your own MP3s, use Musicolet for Android. It has a 15 band EQ, boost the heck out of the lowest bass settings. The speakers can handle it without distortion and at high volume. Pretty happy with that for my music needs.
