Screen Camera Issue
1) If at a stoplight and I press the camera button to view how close I am to a painted crosswalk line,
the camera stays on, even when exceeding 25 mph or re-pressing the button or pressing the camera view
screen option icons.
2) When reversing, the rear camera activates, then I engage drive and the front camera engages, and again will not
"shut off".
(While the view is stuck, the view will show the reverse camera view on the screen while driving forward)
I have tried holding the radio volume **** for more than 10 seconds, ditto, pressing stereo physical home button, and steering
wheel voice activation button.
I have also tried to re-engage the drive shifter lever while moving, all to no avail.
Have not tried leaving the driver's door open for 10 minutes, which I read is a type of computer
system reset.
However, going into park, and or shutting off the car, the screen camera view clears.
So... anyone else experienced issues similar?
Any insights?
FWIW I hope this does not signal a stereo/ nav unit replacement

- The door cache cleaning is for 90 seconds.
- Do this......
- Door shut with the car in park start the car.
- Shut the car off.
- Open the driver's door.
- Leave the door full open for a minimum of 90 seconds.
- Apparently any less won't work so time is of the essence.
- Hint here is to open the door and then using your phone tell Hey Siri to set the timer for 90 seconds. Or Hey google if you're an Android user. Regardless patience is a virtue here.
- After 90 seconds shut the door and restart,
- Not part of this, but I'd knock on wood just to cover all my bases.
No Luck.
Also tried the AI recomdation of holding home button and
a combination of steering weel buttons.
No Luck.
Anyone have a recap or different button combination I can try again?
Symptom: Press the camera button while in drive, and the camera remains on.
Able to switch views, so even driving on the highway, I can access the rear camera views.
Pressing the physical home or camera button has no effect.
With the camera screen visible, there is no home, music, nav etc screen icon visible.
If I stop, engine idling, place in park, switch back to drive, the camera view will disappear.
Anyone else have this issue?
BUT... personally, I would like to stop that camera view screen and return to music or nav screen without stopping.
Without guidance, my next step is to see if this quirk is related to having the PDR on record?
Ya, final step is to have my delarship, Abel, look into my rant at my next visit.
Press and hold the steering wheel "call end" button until the Infotainment screen goes blank/black, then release, and it reboots?
2024 SR OM pic 1 of call control buttons on steering wheel.
Sorry, if this was tried. It works in my 2024 SR to reset/reboot the Infotainment System.
The screen now returns if the button is pressed at a stop light and I accelerate to over 8 mph.
Can't say which procedure worked... keeping the door open for 90 seconds, continued pressing/ holding of the physical volume button, or call holding cancellation button.
(One comment holding the volume button my 2023 screen went blank, but the Corvette Logo never appeared (as the instructions descibed)
One issue remains.... if I press the camera button a second time while at a stop light, the screen does not revert to nav, music, home etc.
In other words, the button only seems to turn on the camera, not turn off the camera.
Normal or still an issue?
