‘No, did not come with spring. I tried to find the spring by itself to no avail. May have to buy the complete assembly to get the spring included, I don’t know. Check with a dealer, maybe they can pull up all parts in the assembly.

Haven't had this problem ..... Yet. But how about trying a ball point pen spring? I don't know what the spring looks like.

I have a 24 model and would have thought this issue would be fixed by now. That said, it's a simple warranty repair at your dealer.

2024 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified

Mine hasn’t broke yet (MY24) but to be honest I never use it. I don’t keep anything in there. It’s small and almost unusable to me. Looks fairly easy to fix or replace though.
