Yep see Andy's DATA! 10 milliamps = 0.01 amps. Times 12 volts = 0.12 WATTS, A single small AAA penlight LED bulb is ~2 Watts! There is NO need to use a charger on an 80% charged C8 Lead Acid Battery parked for 3 weeks.

If the OP doesn't have a charger, from my 4 year experience with my 2020 C8, drive ~30 miles and the battery will be fully charged to the level GM specifies to save energy. All that is needed.

But understand folks will do what they believe!

It sat overnight, the key fob was moved far away at the dealer, and the front latch was clicked so that it didn’t think the frunk was open.
It was tested at .02 amps for the parasitic draw

thanks for replying to all this and hope all is well

I measured 10 ma as noted. I measured it again on another occasion and it was 12 ma. Post 18 in this thread said the dealer measured 20 ma. I reviewed the procedure for measuring the parasitic draw in the LEMON manuals (which are copies of the GM manual) and they seem to indicate that anything below 40 ma is acceptable.
"Verify there is less than 40 mA of parasitic current drain." (which is what you said above too).

But I have not seen that much draw. The car does wake up from time to time and draw a little more. And the manual mentions that certain aftermarket devices can trigger the car to wake up - so that's interesting. Its not just the added parasitic draw of an aftermarket device, it is also that it might wake up portions of the car systems drawing even more.

The manual still has the same discharge time tables that you posted above. Even at 40 ma the tables show that it would drain an 80% charged battery to 50% state of charge in a little over 20 days. Three weeks I think is ok, but more is iffy (in my view).
