Is it getting installed in the frunk I would imagine? What size of shot is it getting? Anything more complicated than usual that you found during the install?

Other than this was the first installation of one a c8 so everything was somewhat custom, no install wasn’t bad.

Is this a wet or a dry kit? Any feature to trick the timing into retarding? Going to do some dyno'ing with it spraying?

Wet kit. We have a couple tricks up our sleeve for that, the other salesperson here used to work for NX. Eh maybe after the track.

Thought LG was 12.1 w/o it and not using launch control in +2k DA, ECS was 11.5 w/o it and using launch control in negative DA?

Just curious as to technical nature of the axle failure....Inner CV? Outer CV? Shaft Splines? Are you going to post up any photos of the failed axle?

wrong. And car was on 100 octane. And neg 450ft DA at atco.

Owner of car explained he used LC both runs.

1st run took him time to figure out second was without issue.

So traction was an issue with launch control?

Alright sorry for the slow response just got back to the shop with the car.

To answer the above question we were using a 100 shot of nitrous.

TX2K is a biiig stage to do initial testing at but it was raining in the dallas area so we went to where it wasn't raining. It would've been nice to do 20 passes at a normal drag strip and post a great result but we worked with what was available.

1st Pass
NA, left off the brake and ran a 12.11 @ 118mph

2nd Pass
Used Launch Control (worked way better) hit the nitrous in 1st gear computer freaked out and would not shift 1-2 until he left off the nitrous and the throttle then got back into it. Ran 12.09 @ 124

3rd Pass
Used Launch Control, hit nitrous in 2nd, wheel hopped and axle said no thanks.

We're going to get a replacement axle ASAP, put a tire/wheel set up on the car and a few other things then head back to the track. We did not get the results we would have liked but the weekend was an absolute blast, the car was constantly surrounded by a crowd.
