But if he is not, Yes!! But , I think he is, like the wheels and tires though, and for you guys with Z51 Shocks, looks like a easy way to lower the car.
I did go to my local dealer and their parts guys to see about purchasing the FE3 Shocks so I could have adjustable shocks on my C8 once it arrives, They gave me a price nd parts numbers, but I think they are not the correct shocks..... Front part# 84726286 & the rear part # 84905755..... Total price would be $961.42, but again, I don't think they are correct because he printed me out the pictures aka drawings of the shock, and they look like the non adjustable. I'm afraid there is going to be a learning curve on parts for the new C8 for several months.
The rear could be correct, though I'd expect to see the threaded lower perches exploded out in a diagram like that. Here's what a Z51 rear coilover looks like on the car-

I agree, the rear drawing looks correct, but the front looks like the standard shock.... I won't get my panties in a bunch until I actually have the car in my possession or when I can talk to an actual coil-over manufacturer that I could then buy the style shock I need
I have a non Z51 C8 coming, and I want to add adjustable coilovers to it ASAP. Does anybody know of or have any experiance with aftermarket suppliers that would have a coilover that is a bolt-on, or is this gonna be one of those a=cases where I'm gonna have to search and modify to get at least single adjustable (for ride height). I'd really rather buy a set of dual adjustable coilovers for the best performance.
I guess I could try and get just some lowering springs, but from my past experiance with other vehicles, that makes for a really crappy ride, and I just don't want to deal with that.
MCS (Motion Controlled Suspension) is who we use on ALL of our road race cars. We have been working for over a month with them on the C8 for over a month now. I will have prototype shocks in 2 weeks if you are interested in testing the second set (I'm getting the first ones) then let me know via PM and we can work something out.

I think my parts guy has the right part for the rear FE3 shocks from the drawing, but I believe the front shock is the wrong part... I'll get with him on Tuesday and do a little more research, hopefully, we can get the right number.
Still have not heard from the parts guy from Chevy about the Z51 FE3 shocks for the front of the car, the rears are definitely correct.... but, I think I'm going to be going with the aftermarket supplier instead and take the risk of being a "crash test Dummy", pun intended..... And get more bang for my buck and be able to get some more tuning in the car's ride than I can get with the factory FE3 setup.
OK... So I know I'm not the only person who screwed up and ordered his C8 without the FE3 shocks in the Z51 package aka non mag ride. I'm still trying to figure out if there is a way to buy just the FE3 shocks from the dealer....... I've posted the specs that the parts guy found for the rear non mag ride FE3 shocks in an ealier part of this thread, but I'm still not sure he has the correct number for the front shocks, today, I got the specs for the FE4 front shocks, that are from the Z51 equipped cars without the lift option, but they still are setup for mag ride....(see the diagrams below) does anybody know if you can run this shock and have it act normally without the electronics hooked up to it, or does it have to have the hookup connected for the shock to act like a shock? I don't need the tuning capibility of the mag ride per say, I just want the shock to be a shock that I can lower the front of the car with.

Well.... Finally got the answers I needed.... Since I'm more interested in just lowering the car 3/4" to 1", I was able to finally confirm that the shocks from GM for the FE3 setup w/o magride and for a C8 w/o the front lift will interchange with the stock FE1 shocks, I can buy the GM parts I need, and with a few handtools and shock wrenches I already own, transform my FE1 shocks into FE3 shocks, achieve my drop I want and not have to spend a bunch of bucks as of right now for aftermarket coilover shocks.
Once I have had some playtime with the car, learn how it drives and what I want to do with the car, then I can invest in a set of Aftermarket Shocks.... Now.... Come on BG, get my car built by the 15th!!!

Are the front shocks on the Z51 the same as the front shocks on the non Z51 if both have the front lift system? Cicio has figured out how to lower the front end of a Z51 with front lift.
i am getting a non Z51 with front lift but would like to lower. Are you saying we can replace the rear FE1 shocks with FE3 shocks and that would allow us to lower the rears? Or do we need to have FE3 shocks in both front and back?

Yes... if you have front lift, then you can use the Cicio drop kit for the front, then go to your prefered GM supplier and purchase the parts you will need to convert your FE1 rear shocks into FE3 shocks, then you can lower the rear end.
Why didn't you just order a Z51? A good coilover kit will be $3500 to $5K out of the gate. The entire Z51 option was $5K. It'll be a little before you can order Chinese garbage coilovers for $1,500.

At the time I ordered my car, I did not know the FE1 shocks were not adjustable, as far as the Z51 package overall... I was planning on doing my own exhaust, my own suspension and I did not see a value in the Z51 package..... As I've done more research, I would have been better off in the long run ordering the Z51 package, but since I did not want to lose my 2020 vehicle, and it was too late to change my order, I'm doing what I need to to have the car I want for now... then if I decide I need to be a "Tool" like so many others and act like the Corvette God of ALL, I'll order a 2022 MACKED OUT Daddy of a Vette.... OK?
