Not simple as it's all welded construction. Tenneco made the C7 and I assume the C8 exhaust as it's their valves etc. A good muffler shop could cut off the tips and install whatever. Not so simple to get it all aligned perfectly as Tenneco has fixtures and uses MIG robots to made all the welds.
Kudos to Chevrolet for designing the new c8. That being said the stock OEM c8 exhaust is a 76pound boat anchor. Heavy bulky and 4 uglySquare tips .
we engineered a system that removed 30 pounds off the rear of the car and flows better. It’s light runs a lot cooler and comes with matt carbon fiber exhaust tips.
we could sell you tips but you would have to cut off and weld on the tips at your exhaust shop of choice. Totally doable. Tips $160 carbon fiber auto-clave lifetime quality street or race no deterioration.
