Rear Axle System Off Notification

Ok..took delivery of my Z51 C8 on Tuesday and have had this warning show up a few times, no trouble code thrown and the message just says to “Dismiss”
Should I worry about this?

Take it in, dismiss is to turn the warning off.

Yes, I understand that but you would think if it was an issue the check engine light would come on...very weird.

You would think. Or cycle the ignition and see if it goes away. Hopefully it’s a ghost in the machine.

Dealer replaced a valve body in the transmission instead of replacing the transmission like they first thought they would have to do. So far so good.. Hope this takes care of the problem for my buddy once and for all.. The dealer was great at keeping him informed of the work being performed.
