I have a long torso, so when wearing my helmet I sometimes find myself in a less than comfortable sitting position. Back when I had my 2000 FRC I was able to remove several of the springs in the seat which would allow my weight to sink the seat down a little - which was enough to give me that little extra headroom.
Now I have the 2020 Coupe with the GT2 seats (which we love for daily driving). I would love to be able to drop my butt down a little more into the seat, but do not believe my 2000 FRC spring hack applies here. I found this image of what I believe is an exploded view of the Competition seat. I was wondering if anyone knew if perhaps some of the parts are interchangeable with the GT2 seat? I wonder if a swap or modification of parts #1 or #4 might be possible in order to get that little extra headroom.
Alternatively, anyone know any good SA helmets that are really low profile? I use to have a BELL years ago that was low profile, but last time I checked they were not making any model like it anymore.
Sorry I can't answer your questions, but where did you find that diagram? I've been looking for a way to find OEM part numbers and diagrams - similar how realoem was for BMW.

Does anyone know if the shop manuals are available yet? Years ago for my previous Corvettes I would get them from a Corvette dealer over the internet but he has since sold his business and I cannot reach them anymore.
