Has anyone used the Quick Jack under their C8 Corvette? If so, How much clearance is there between the ground and the frame of the car?
Looking to purchase a Quick Jack and I want to be get the correct one. The 5000 is supposed to be 3" tall. The 7000 is suppose to be 3.6" tall I have other vehicles that I will lift with the Quick Jack tow of them are Trucks. I would like to be able to have the extra lift capability if the 7000 will fit under the C8.
If the clearance under the C8 is tall enough to use the Quick Jack 7000, I would like to purchase that model. If not, I will get the 5000. (Yes, I am already aware of the altered jacking points on the C8. ) That's one of the reasons I am asking if anyone has used the Quick Jack on the C8.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Here's a thread with pictures of using the 7000SLX, and it appears a 7000EXT would fit best.
19 inches with 1.5 in blocks. I have 2 in Blocks but they almost contact the RED lift pucks at the ground/start position. The Quickjack needs a little distance between the block, and in my case the lift puck, to lift the car. BTW I have the 5000 SLX with the SLX Extension (must have extension with 5000SLX to reach the distance between the lift point— probably best to buy the 5000 EXT). This extension adds 1.5 inches to the standard height of the 5000SLX without blocks. The 19 inches accounts for the additional 1.5 in from the SLX Extension.
Wow!! Thank You for the quick and excellent reply!
If you needed to raise the car higher, is there a place to set it down on jack stands and then insert higher blocks to get that extra couple inches of car height??
These are some pretty cool pucks. Who makes them, what was the approx. price and do you leave them installed on the frame when you are done lifting the car? .
I got the lift pucks from Amazon for $40. I keep them installed so that if anyone else lifts the car they know where the lift points are (which happened when I had EXPEL installed and Ceramic Coating).
The only place I know to lift the C8 unlike my C7 (has multiple places to lift car) is where the pucks r installed. Jack stands and QuickJacks can’t use the same lift points at the same time. The underside of the C8 is completely covered—no cross beams/axle to use as alternative lift point.

You can lift with “Safejacks” https://safejacks.com/ . I have to insert a 1-1/2” plywood piece under the wheels to start the lift for low profile cars. I use two Safe Jacks and two regular jack stands. A hassle, but very sturdy. Not as much clearance as my Quick Jacks, but it also works on my Ram 2500. (No need for plywood with a tall vehicle.)
I used my 5000EXT for the first time since I lowered the car approximately 1". Even the low set of rubber blocks was too high by about 1/4". I used 2x4 secitons today, but will either get lower rubber blocks, or cut mine down for next time.

Overall, love the Quickjack.
Hockey pucks are an inch thick. I that a good thickness for your need?

Thanks for this! Fedex delivered my Quickjacks yesterday and my car gets the Cicio lowering kit installed this coming Thursday, so your update is extremely relevant. Couple questions if you don't mind: 1) How thick are the jacking pucks you're using? and 2) If you cut down your rubber blocks, how thick will you make them?

Those would be perfect. I'll probably order those rather than trying to cut the the 2-1/4" ones down. At 1.5" high, they will barely clear the top of the Quickjack, so be careful with jack placement to ensure the jack frame does not contact the puck.
My pucks are the standard 1" thick.
