Seat memory operation
With my manual transmission 2015 C7 I was able to have the seat automatically move to the programmed position PRIOR TO STARTING the engine and WITHOUT HOLDING DOWN the driver #1 button on the side of the door. It only required that the parking brake be set, clutch depressed and accessory on (without starting the engine). On my current C8, I must hold the door button down continuously until the seat moves into the preprogrammed position. It will not automatically move unless the engine is running. And sometimes, that does not operate unless the button is depressed continuously. My dealer does not seem to know the solution. Chevrolet says it could be a software issue but offers no advice other than to manually hold the button. And this is an $80,000.00 luxury world class, track capable, sports car! Does anyone have thoughts, suggestions, or a solution to this problem? I have contacted Chevrolet Customer Service twice and am currently waiting for their latest response.
