The OEM o2 sensor on the c8 is wide band as compared to narrow band on all earlier corvettes which allows for tuning of add on modifications without having to use a temporary wide band from a professional tuner.

Your asking if the C8 wide band 02 sensor is compatible with previous year corvettes. I don't see where the previous year ECM program have the tune capability to adjust WOT as closed loop like the C8. Maybe a tuner will chime in.
