How did GM handle the vibration operating in 4 cyl mode without there being a torque converter to fool with?

I don't believe that anyone would think that intentionally slipping clutches is a good idea, especially for "fuel economy".

While GM has improved the AFM system over the years, I'd do everything I could to make sure it never activated. Durability of that system is a canned good without the label.

They are wet clutches that Tadge said they are good for the life of the car. At light throttle the amount of wear is negligible. I’m. It concerned 1 bit.
