Default Soler Performance C8 Throttle Body Install & MORE.

Hands on installation.

Note: Matt went above and beyond what is required for only the TB swap BUT it is still a clean/easier install w/ useful info for anyone looking to do other things beyond the TB as well (generally speaking; valuable overall removal/installation info to have on the C8).

Hope you enjoy the video.

Cheers!

It is much easier to remove the intake manifold with the throttle body still attached to it. You won't need to remove anything in/thru the trunk either, 15 minute job this way.

Very cool, glad to see you branching into the C8s. I had one of yours on my C7 and loved it! This looks like a total nightmare in comparison to switch out in comparison though, especially on my HTC. Would definitely test one out for you though. 😉 Haha

Wow. This is good to know. I want to get intake manifold ported and do throttle body at same time so this will save lots of work.

Agreed, that's my plan too. Soler ported TB again for sure (had one on my C7), and either a Wilson or SoCal Porting ported intake manifold. Decisions decisions... but I wonder if WeaponX will get into porting the LT2 IM like they did for the LT1 (had theirs on my C7)?
