Default Can I Drive Coupe Without Engine Cover?

I just took delivery of a 2021 red mist coupe and would like to remove the engine cover to paint it. Since the corvette is my daily driver, can I continue to drive it with the engine cover off?

Yes you can drive with the engine cover off your coupe. My convertible does not have an engine cover and it's like the coupe under the coupe engine cover.

When will you be able to tell us about your gains? I notice Holley does not have this on their website yet.

Engine cover just traps heat.

My pic is somewhat misleading, the IM fits nicely but the neck is too high (needs to be angled downward more). The throttle body won't fit because the cross brace is in the way, I would have to remove the brace and wasn't quite ready to do that.

If/when I do it I would post up, I'm not looking to hide anything. Gains are hard enough to come by not to share.

I was thinking that Holley was using your car as a test car, and as such you might have an NDA on results until they were ready to release. Not that you were just purposefully being secretive.

It looks like a LT1 High Ram manifold. My guess is that would physically heads and such, but as you said, maybe not everywhere else.
