If you track your car, you will see lower DCT temps on the order of 20-25 degrees.

I’ve never have launch my car. I just don’t like the fact of putting so much load on the drivetrain. It’s hard on the car. Of course tracking is to but it’s different in its ways. I can tell you I have been against other C8’s on the track with no mods and with my mods we we're both dead locked even the whole straight. Pretty much no benefit with the little extra power and weight savings I have. So it’s a little disappointing besides the sound. But I get most in the braking zones and turns.

It will come out. A real slow wiggle and pull.

Default DCT fluid filler pipe

Hi, first time here.. just got my c8.
There are many discussions on adding 2 additional qt. Of dct fluid.
just wondering if there are anyone out there who have permanently installed a
filler tube once having access to the filler hole on the top of the transmission. Of course it has to be connected sound w/o fuid leakage at the point of connection with another sealing threaded cap on the top of the tube. Perhaps depending on the location, may have to be made of insulated metal tube and even heat resistant as it can can pretty hot inside.

It's such a tight area it would have to be very shallow and most likely a have a 90 degree fitting. It's really not that bad to get to. Especially the more you do it. For myself I don't mind taking the time to remove the air filter for I like inspecting the motor for any signs of wear or issues. Even blow the air box out cause it gets nasty and a lot settles at the bottom.

I did have the Dodson one way oil line feed that goes where the oil fill port is. But it's a pain to remove, fill, reinstall, cycle the DCT, remove again, top off, reinstall, then fill with the two quarts. Plus I notice some oil residue and dirt building around the fittings so I went back to the OEM and fill normal.
