I have a 2021 LT2 with z51 option and front lift. I have 800 miles on the car and from day one the front lift has not work properly. The car has been at a Chev dealer for 2 weeks trying to fix the problem. The reservoir has the new blue cap and is not the issue. They have been in contact with GM. Does anyone know if the front lift has been an issue on the 2021?
Sometimes it would work but a "service front lift" message would be displayed. Sometimes it would not work at all. Sometimes it would work one time and then would not work again a few minutes later.

Thanks. Since you have had it at the dealer assume they understand what can at times be confusing.
If it activates and you drive at a low speed, common in parking lots after going in a step driveway, it may stay up. Also, I have my driveway set to automatically lift as I approach. When I start the car in the garage it goes up because of location. If I didn't see the message and went to the driveway/street intersection and pressed again it would go down!
As mentioned, the dealer checked and IF they understood the operation should have been able to differentiate.
Thank you. I understand what you are saying. But there are times it will not work at all. Sometimes it will go only up part way. The service team working on it is off until this Wednesday(isn't that nice) That will be 21/2 weeks at the dealer. At that point I may just tell them to put everything back together and forget about the front lift. Nice weather in NY does not last long.

That would be terrible. Understand they must check with GM before they start replacing "stuff" BUT at some point GM will say, just replace all the components!
I have a 21 C8 and also had an issue with the front lift. The front lift on my car acted the same way yours does. I took it to the dealer and they had it for a few days. They finally found out that there was a small leak in one of the lines that allowed air to enter the system. Once that was known it was an easy fix. It has been working fine.
Good luck with yours

I just had this begin with my 2021 LT2 Z51 as well. When I got home a couple days ago, the system told me it needed an update so I followed the process and to my knowledge it was successful except that AFTER the computer rebooted, I noticed the "service front lift" message on my dash screen. The front lift would not go up or down after that... Obviously I'll be taking a trip to my dealer as well. This is the first issue I've had with the car.

This has happened to other people after an update. Try a BCM reset procedure: Get in the car, start the engine, stop the engine, open driver side door, leave door open for 90+ seconds, then close the door and start the engine.
@RKCRLR Thank you for the response, I will definitely try! I dread going to the dealer as I've had some bad luck even with a simple oil change. I wish Chevy had better service options for those who own Corvettes versus a Silverado and the like. I'll post back if your suggestion works and thank you again.

@RKCRLR Finally got around to trying your suggestion and it worked! Saved me a trip to the dealer, thank you very much and Merry Christmas to you and yours! E
