Default Track performance run flat vs non?

I'm looking to get new tires for my C8. I'm planning to stay with the OEM brand and sizes. I trailer the car to the track and my around town driving is very local. Does anyone know if run flat vs non run flat perform better on the track?

Absolutely yes NON-Run Flat tires perform better plus think about the weight alone.

Have NON-Run Flat on my C8 and they weighed in 5 lbs less per tire and that is unsprung weight.

Also NON-Run Flats handle, brake, hook up better than the harder heavier Run Flats.

I don't think I've ever seen a race car with run flats.
Any time you can reduce unsprung weight on a race car that is usually a good thing.
In my opinion run flats are for soccer mom's who don't want to change a tire.

I agree! I changed mine out. You will feel Run Flats on a long trip.

They first have to find a place to carry the spare with them to change it. I know there are some options when dealing with a flat tire with non run flats, but my wife does drive the car a bit and she wouldn't be to keen to have to deal with it.

I'm on the list for the Z06 and will let her know that they only come in NON RUN FLATS on the Z06!
