My C8 oil life was at 18% and then I took a short drive ( avg speed was 38Mph), and then the oil life indicator went to Zero. I have appointments with dealer on 23rd to change oil and transmission filter, etc. Anyone else see the oil life change so fast? I will drive the car a few more miles before appointment and am sure no harm to engine will occur. Have 3,983 miles on it.

How long had the car been sitting since you last drove it? The algorithms with the Oil Life Monitor system factor in time sitting. That would be the only way to explain that. It just took the OLM a minute to reflect it's current status after starting and driving. That would be the only way it could change that quickly.
The car sat overnight from a short drive the day before also and the next day it showed 18% and then after the second day short drive it went to Zero. Car was not run hard but in FL so hotter weather

That's pretty fast to go from 18% to Zero. Hard to believe the hot weather factored into a decline that rapid, but maybe.
