Wheels hopping
Tracked my C8 for the first time on Friday. No matter what type of launch I tried, kept getting wheel hop off the line. Used the Launch Control, tried traction control on and off, hit the water box, then no water box, lowered rear tire pressures to 27psi, no help. It would make my revs shoot up and I'd wind up in second gear too soon. Could only manage a best time of 11.9, but trap speeds of 120mph, so you know it's all launch issues.
Any suggestions from my more experienced brethren?

There is one spot that go to for doing launches that I get wheel hop. Any other spot that I have tried, it works fine. I think it is the type of pavement making the issue. Just my observation.
