Great info here on the seat removal. Does anyone know if the GT2 and Competition seats are able to be swapped out easily or the harness different. For reference, both the GT2 and Comp seats have heating and cooling with lumbar controls. I am considering a swap with another forum member but want to be sure its an easy "plug and play" swap before we ship seats across the country to each other.

I’d bet the connector is the same.

I have my comp seats in the basement. Would you like me to take a picture of the plug so that you can compare?

Thanks for this post. I followed it last week when I replaced the bottom drivers seat cover on my 2020. I was able to maneuver the seat around and remove the cover and replace it without disconnecting the seat belt. Took a few hours to complete it but worth it replacing my worn Sky Gray bottom. Couldn't have done it without this post and the instructions on how to disconnect the under seat connector.

For all you guys doing this, has anyone removed the piano black looking plastic piece off the back of the seat? Mine creaks a bit and I would like to stuff some foam in there to quiet it down. I tried unscrewing the screws that go through it but it won't budge so I am assuming there are other attachment points but I did not want to manhandle it as it feels kinda flexy.

Have any of y'all removed the passenger seat completely? I was doing so to add space for my dog instead of a seat cover, but it seems like you can't use the driver side if the passenger seat is missing. Or maybe I messed something up?
