Give your C8 Corvette the Throttle Response it is missing
Take Control of the information your ECU is getting and give it the information it needs!
Get rid if the 1/3 Throttle Lag programmed into your C8 Corvette
with the Pedal Commander Throttle Controller Pedal Commander is the Worlds's Most advanced throttle controller. It eliminates the response delay from your electronic accelerator pedal, allowing your engine to respond faster to your inputs. Want better fuel economy? Want a little more pedal response in traffic? Want to carve up your local back roads? Going to the track? Got kids, leaving your Corvette with a Valet? Take
Control of the Go Pedal with Pedal Commander
You say it eliminates the response delay?
if I'm in launch control and I have the accelerator pedal to the floor and then release the brake are you saying that the throttle will open to max position quicker with your product installed?

No
If the pedal is all the way down, it is already wide open
It changes the rate of throttle pick up via the electronic sensors. If you
have stock throttle position "X" at 1/4 throttle, than it will be "X+" at 1/4 throttle when installed
so
the throttle response will be faster from 0 to 1/4 throttle in the above example vs stock
That is a good question but if you look at the way a throttle controller works by time you let go of the brake pedal doing a launch it will not change anything. These things shorten the drive by wire initial delay and once the pedal is to the floor that delay is gone. If you release the pedal and put your foot back down you will feel the controller do what it is designed to do.

From what I understand when in launch control the throttle is only open around 30% and then opens the rest of the way when the brake is released. I don't think your control eliminates a "delay", I believe it just changes the throttle sensor signal. Basically it makes the sensor more or less sensitive depending on the setting, it doesn't eliminate any delay.
In 1988 BMW came out with the first car (7 series) with drive by wire and it was terrible you could literally count to three after you pushed the throttle down before the car moved. Some years later I installed the first of many throttle controllers even though by then drive by wire had gotten better with less delay time. The advent of turbo cars ( early turbo cars combined with drive by wire really had hesitation since the turbo needed to spool up) made things worse until they got faster at spooling up or had electric help. Not every car is the same nor every driver I happen to be unusually sensitive to drive by wire delay and with the exemption of the one of kind 911 in my garage all my current vehicles have a throttle controller of (if it is available) some kind installed. The delay is there but it has become part of the modern car and unless you are sensitive to it like me or old and remember what cars used to be like you are just used to it.
