Has anyone ever removed this piece of trim just inside the door? I got the bottom to unclip but I can’t get the top to budge. I’ve pulled as hard as dare without knowing what’s back there. I stuck my scope inside and it looks like a regular spring clip, but is it?
I know that, but the guy was trying to help me out and I had already figured it out anyway, so why point that out?
Wow. Ok. Let me educate you on how the interwebz works, sir. Most everything documented online is of permanent record. Even if a host no longer pays for server space, almost everything can be/is copied abroad and offsite.
So, Jane Doe comes searching out this and similar threads in the future only to find mismatched pictures, directions and often times no closure. As a responsible human being living in a society that you yourself have asked for help, it was YOUR responsibility to provide that closure and footnote any mistakes along the way.
A simple ‘thanks for doing the job I’m too inept to perform’ or maybe no sarcastic rhetorical question at all would have sufficed just perfectly🤣
PS: @Grey with the service manual has helped many, many people on this forum and provides a novel service….so don’t link your mistakes to his effort ever again please!

Same problem here. The bottom clip popped out with a fork tool. The top one did not want to come out. Twist and pry usually helps.
I thought I was going to break it, but it came out.
