I am getting my 2lt z51 about two months from now. I was curious can I do the set for track use and do daily driving with it without any issue? I will probably do track twice a month and probably do a lot of spirited driving during daily drive.
You won’t get the best 0-60 times from a track alignment.
I’m on track setup and like to see at least 10K miles. All depends on what tires you actually run and how hard you run. Also how many track days you do a year. Cross reference that with how many alignments you might do going back and fourth.
Tracked my car in street alignment -- I had 7,500 daily street miles on the factory stock tires, put three days on the tires (total about 180 miles of track time) and I think the Carousel at Road America just finished the fronts for good, rotated the tires through the day. Gonna use this on a few short commute as I'm waiting to put winter tires on in 6 weeks from now anyway.
I've been driving my 2LT Z51 + Mag ride (but no front lift) for ~ 5,000mi or one year now with the full track track set-up and have not had any issues - tires are wearing fine. Found that the OEM street alignment was too squirrely.

I now have about 200 miles on the track alignment and I also had it lowered 1/2". No problems. It does spin the rear tires easier now is the only thing I noticed.
So I was gonna start a post on cost to set my C8 up to track and then ask, assuming I do track on a weekend, how much is it to go back to normal...or once track never back?? Do people "track" align and lower and go back...back and forth or people who configure a legit track setup just stay that way.
