I saw a 2.7 posted; best I've seen. My personal best is 3.1, but I've only tried launch control once and the tires were cold so I experienced excessive wheel spin. I'll try again in warmer conditions!
I only tried launch control a few times and after a coupe tries my time improved from 3.2 to 2.9. So, my car did what it suppose to do and I don't feel the need to do any further testing.

I have a 2022 Z51. I have only tried to launch it once, but my time for 0 - 60 was 3.5. I simply put it in "track" mode and used launch control, then kept my foot to the floor. How did you get such a fast time (2.6)? Were you shifting manually?
I was getting 3.4 or even 3.6 and was disappointed until I realized that it was launching at 1500 RPM.
You have to push really hard on the brake to make the rpms come up to 3500...then let off of the brake and hold on !
I get consistent 2.8 to 2.9 but have gotten two 2.7's.
However I am now getting a hesitation between the 1-2 shift and it feels like the engine is hitting its rev limiter for a split second.
But it is enough to slow me down to 3.1 or 3.2.
I am going to have to take it to dealer.
Anybody out there experiencing this?
That is quite a difference from 2.8
Is the road your getting that time on downhill?? LOL !!
I know i got a 2.6 once but the road was slightly sloped down.

Man you got a quick one !!
Don't know if you saw my post about the hesitation I am getting on the 1-2 shift, but I am pissed. It happens every time now. I contacted a dealer and he told me without a code it will be difficult to diagnose. After the holidays it is going in. If the mechanic can't fix it I will request or demand a GM tech to come in. I don't know if they do that for problems like this but Lexus did that on a problem I was having on my SUV. They ran all sorts of road test but they also could not duplicate the problem. On my Lexus I am living with the problem however it is nothing to be concerned about. On my Vette that is a different story. You can see the hesitation on the PDR recording and like I
said it is adding almost a half a second to my 0-60 times.

I do know of an identical situation. Launch control, then bogged like it hit fuel cut. Engine light triggered a minute or so later. The guy’s dealer said it was a trans code and cleared it out. Code never returned, but now the 1-2 shift is lazy. Cost owner a few tenths to 60mph every time now, and the light hasn’t come back.
Interesting.....I am not getting a light though. That may be a problem because todays techs work off of computer codes. Somebody that knows different let me know please.
I spoke to another dealer this morning and he said bring it in the first of the year and I am going to have to leave it "for several days."
I asked about upper level support and he said they call them if they can't figure it out.
luckily I have 0-60 runs that I have saved on my PDR and
also the launches that show the hesitation on the shift. So they can't tell me it does not do it. I paid, like all of us, a lot of money for a car that should not
do this so I will not take "we could not find a problem" for an answer.

I agree mine seems to be one of the quickest in country based on 6 FB C8 pages. My buddy got his March 2020 has done hundreds of launches avg 2.7 never got 2.6 or 2.5. Mine was supposed to be built March 2020 but factory shut down. Built July received July 31 2029.
As far as bogging done from 1st to 2nd it has happened occasionally but not consistently. Good luck in finding the cause. Im thinking trans related.
I am thinking it is trans related also. I brought that up to both dealers I spoke with and they checked my vin (16606 built Nov. 8 2020 delivered on Dec 7 2020)
that I don't have any updates on the trans and they have no reports of transmission problems like mine. I have analyzed my runs on my computer off of the SD card
to see what is happening and it looks like it is shifting a little above the redline. To me this indicates maybe it is hitting fuel cut off and that is the hesitation.
The reason dual clutches are so fast is that there is no break in torque, but you can really feel the torque stopping during the shift.
It really take the fun out of giving friends a "ride."
Very fast and I from what the numbers and tires say is it is not a Z51. However did you see his other video suggestion after that 1/4 mile run?
It links to that same car doing a pull on a dyno and he says he has done "tricks" to the car. So do you think the 10.95 is before the tricks?
Yeah....that's Carl Messenger of North Carolina. The car now has bolt ons and ported heads. There's another clip where he went 10.48@132....no tune yet. Impressive for bolt on car.
I personally messaged Carl Messenger and he informed me that that 10.95 was in stock form. The base models evidently have a better trap speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. Also confirmed by GM
