Default Lowered C8 MAG ride

Hello all,
I’m about to place my order for a new corvette and I read mixed options on MAG ride. Besides that, I read you can actually lower the vehicle about an inch with just some wrench in you have MAG ride.

Question being, I’m sure stock drives smooth but once you lower it on MAG ride does it change that smoothness? I don’t need a huge drop so that “1” I read might be enough. But if it affects the smoothness, then I might just order it without MAG ride and get the paragon springs.

thanks for all your guys/gals help. Appreciate it!

I haven't noticed any difference in smoothness after lowering my vehicle on stock suspension. I have a 2022 NON-z51 C8 with mag ride.

I dont have mag ride, but i do have a Z51 ,which i lowered and rides just like new before lowering. I am glad i didnt get mag ride because i like to drive in sport or track mode all the time. that way the ride does not get stiffer

You lowered it all the way on your MAG suspension? Do you have any pictures you could share?

I could have probably gone slightly lower on the rear but this is pretty much maxed out.

What? That’s maxed out on MAG ride? Looks amazing! I might as well go with the MAG ride option and max it out. Get a great drop and you don’t loose that stock comfort. Thank you!!!

I basically ordered a Non-Z51 but added Mag ride to have this option to lower the car but also give more firm ride when wanted. But I also plan to do springs as well and then fine tune it with the stock adjustments.

You can make the My Mode and Z-Mode settings the same as Sport and Track but have the suspension set to Tour and get the same results with MSRC.

Does someone have a pic completely lowered on stock wheels? Curious how that looks....

Also, where are the wrenches to lower the suspension available? I don't need anything fancy.

Paragon sells the wrenches if you have Z51 or non-Z51 with magride. Also I used front lowering collars since I had front lift. I have wheel spacers to flush the stock wheels with the body line
