I haven't contacted them but in this thread by Phoenix Performance they indicate that they have an AIM solution w/ data collection.

Correct he does have a solo running with cam “ but no obde info like you could get with a C7. So it’s not really integrated because the AIM does not support the c8 ecu . Unless they have another method which I hope and they would share . You can wire it inline
for can connection like vbox says but to cut into my main harness for 4 streams of info is not worth it.

What data do you want? There is quite a bit on the various CAN Buses, but wires have to be found and spliced into. Can't read anything at the OBD port with the current data systems since its a gateway to the various can buses. I had some data on the Smarty Cam video, but some channels failed to show because I ran into a limit on the amount of channels a Solo2 can handle. I was trying to test about 80 channels and it only would let me do 50 or 60.

That isn't something I just send. If you want to discuss, call the shop tomorrow.

Everything passed over the bus between the various computers is encrypted, so I'm not sure it's going to tell you much even if you can read it.

The way I look at it, is the encryption is related to what module is sending the info. If I wanted to send info to a certain module, that is a problem. But to record info from the bus with an AIM, or any data acquisition is just figuring out what and where the signals are. Its not trying to mimic or replace anything like a stand-alone ECU would.

I don't think the data on the bus is encrypted. It's authenticated so you can't falsify or replace data like AJ said. But it should still be readable once you get behind the gateway.
